Device Takes Vital Signs in 30 Seconds
The Welch Allyn Spot Vital Signs takes vital signs in just 30 seconds using the oscillometric method to detect systolic and diastolic pressure, MAP and pulse rate. The monitor allows for users to easily view measurements on a large LCD display with backlight, operating on a lithium ion battery. The monitor will record measurements in a memory setting for the previous 99 sets of vital signs data. This data includes blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and SpO2. The information is held in memory mode until the monitor is turned off.
Monitor Includes a Myriad of Features
The vital signs reader includes a myriad of features such as automatic blood pressure mode, STAT blood pressure mode, programmable alarms, and built-in memory. The Welch Allyn Vital Signs Monitor has the ability to generate a visual and audible alarm when measurements exceeding the pre-set limits are detected by the monitor. Blood pressure measurements may be automatically initiated at programmed time intervals. While in STAT mode, the monitor takes blood pressure readings repeatedly for up to 15 minutes. A new measurement cycle will be initiated when the cuff pressure from the previous cycle drops below 10mmHg. In addition to the built-in features, the monitor includes motion-tolerant Nellcor® Pulse Oximetry with Nellcor® Finger Clip Sensor.
Visual & Audible Indicators Alert Patients
With the ability to generate a visual and audible alarm, patients are made aware of concerning measurements detected by the monitor. An alarm is activated if either the systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, pulse rate or SpO2, exceed the alarm limits programmed by the operator. The visual indicators consist of flashing LED displays for the parameter in question whereas the audible indicators sound off a repetitive alarm tone. To check for standard non-invasive blood pressure, use the cuff on the upper arm of both adults and children. The arm must be relaxed and motion-free during use for accurate measurements.
WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including Cumene, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov
Welch Allyn has created a hospital-grade automated, multi-parameter electronic device used for quick, accurate, one-time vital sign measurements
Blood pressure measurements are recorded in memory mode for both manual and automatic cycles
Features four-second SureTemp® Plus Thermometer with temperature probe and box of probe covers
The Welch Allyn Vital Signs Monitor is not intended to be used on neonatal patients
Welch Allyn has a 1-year warranty on pulse oximetry sensors, temperature probes and all external accessories whereas the monitor has a 2-year warranty
