tg Tubular Bandage is a seamlessly knit stockinette that is ideal as the first layer in lymphedema compression bandaging. It’s great for skin protection and to absorb perspiration and oils.
The bandage is lightweight and breathable for comfortable wear. It is designed to absorb perspiration for increased patient comfort. The bandage can also be used to enclose foam padding or applied over zinc paste bandages.
The closed mesh, skin-friendly material can be stretched to about four times its original width allowing fewer sizes to be needed within your facility. By pulling lengthwise, the bandage is narrowed down again. This white bandage can be used anywhere on the body – from head to toe, and can be sterilized at 121°C/250°F and reused. It’s made of 67% cotton and 33% viscose.
