The Kestrel 5400 Heat Stress Tracker measures Wet Bulb Glove Temperature (WBGT), Thermal Work Limit (TWL), heat index, temperature, humidity, and 15 measurements total. The tracker is waterless with the Natural Wet Bulb Temperature are accurately calculated from on board digital sensors with no long setup of maintenance. The graphic display is large with hi-res and hi-contrast for easy readability in bright or low-light conditions. A data logger is handheld and portable and has a customizable warning flag settings, graphing and measurement statistics. The optional Bluetooth Smart allows the tracker to connect to mobile devices or computers. The backlight color can be switched between white and night-vision preserving red. Some other features include icon-based navigation, intuitive keypad, multiple languages, a large O-ring sealed door for easy battery access, and a polycarbonate lens with scratch-coating to protect display from damage.
