Misleading Product Page

Every other riser besides this one comes in sets of four. When I bought this one, I thought I'd be getting four for approximately $30, but instead I got one. A full set would cost $120. Buyer beware.

Q: I want to raise a hall table 6 inches. Are these finished nicely on the bottom so I can turn them upside down and screw the legs of the table to them? Can I then stain these to match the table?

A: Hi Mary! The blocks do not have a solid bottom, they are open on both ends, making it nearly impossible to screw anything into them.
They already have a finish on them so staining over them would not be successful unless the original finish was removed.

Q: If I have a bedpost that measures 5in in width, would this riser be able to hold this post securely?

A: Hi Alice,

The inside of these risers will only support up to 4" in width, so these will not work. Unfortunately, we checked with the manufacturer of a couple of other risers we carry and they will not support the 5" posts.
