The Sammons Preston Quick Clean Gait Belt is designed for patient and caregiver safety while being moved or transferred. With comfort and ease of use in mind, the inner lining is soft and breathable providing more relief than nylon or canvas gait belts. The belt does not need to rest directly on the skin but can be worn over the patients’ clothes.
Belt Equipped with Convenient Grip Points
Located on the outside of the belt, there are four loop handles sewn around the waist for convenient grip points. The handles allow the caregiver to choose the most effective leverage point to safely transfer a patient. Individuals can also choose between a spring-loaded, self-locking polyethylene buckle buckle or a heavy-duty metal buckle. Quick release buckle allows belt to be attached and detached with ease.
Ideal for Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy Facilities
The transfer belt helps both the fall-risk patient and their caregiver. This belt makes it ideal for rehabilitation and physical therapy facilities helping patients walk or transfer from a seated position to standing. The belt is sized to fit most individuals and is available in three different waist sizes. The belts are also color coded for quick identification. The blue belt is a size small fitting waists measuring 24-30 inches. The belt colored green is a size medium fitting waists measuring 28-40 inches.
