Precor Series 635 Upright Bike
The Precor Series 635 Upright Bike is equipped with an easy seat adjustment mechanism, a redesigned saddle for enhanced riding comfort, and improved knee over pedal spindle (KOPS) geometry for efficient pedaling. The over-molded handlebars feature dual heart rate sensors and three ergonomic riding positions: upright, cruising, and road. The handlebars' optimal width ensures stability and comfort throughout the forearm.
Optimal Pedaling Biomechanics
Precor designed the recumbent bike to maintain similar biomechanics as the upright bike. The seat rail angle can be adjusted with an offset from the crank to facilitate efficient pedaling and reduce shear force on the knee. With a seat rail angle of 15 degrees and a slight offset from the crank axle, the knee is positioned directly over the ball of the foot (or pedal spindle) when the pedals are at the 2 and 8 o'clock positions.
