Based on a design by an anesthesiologist, the Epidural Positioning Device positions patients correctly and comfortably during the epidural and other spinal anesthetic procedures. The device encourages cervical, thoracic and lumbar flexion by maintaining a solid and stable position. Designed to be used with the EPD, the labor delivery stand provides adjustable foot support to aid in positioning the patient and for patient comfort. Designed for use with patients up to 600 lbs., the EPD accommodates patients of a variety of body sizes and weights. This device is intended for use by trained professionals in a hospital or clinical setting.
