The extended hip pads are designed to promote iliac crest protection without restricting athletic movement. The Lightning 7 provides optimum compression in addition to protection, and keeps athletes cool and dry.
EVA Foam Pads
The Lightning 7 is a soft, comfortable, and conforming compression girdle made to be worn during contact sports. This 7-pad integrated girdle is constructed of soft, lightweight pads that are made from the new Cramer Spider Web EVA foam pads. EVA foam pads provide ultimate breathability and mobility for maximum protection and limited movement restriction. These pads ensure protection without the weight of bulky external pads.
Sizing and Construction
Lightning 7’s are made of 80% Nylon, 20% Spandex, and include a 100% polyester mesh crotch panel. This panel is made of anti-microbial and moisture wicking mesh to keep you dry and cool. The thigh pads are made of 5/8" thick Spider Web foam, and the waistband is 2" wide Spandex Elastomer. Sizing is based off of waist circumference. Refer to the size chart above for exact measurements.
